Phantom page on website
-
Hi, my website is http://www.montemuse.com – using 20-11 theme.
I have just created this website with about 10 pages (all set to private). When I view them I see the url is www/montemuse.com/pagename which is fine as that’s how I set permalinks.BUT – when I view any of the pages I created and click on the header image it goes to a page with url “www.montemuse.com/” (ie. with no page name suffix). This page is blank with the usual apology message.
I don’t understand where this page is coming from as it does not appear in the ALL PAGES LIST. How do I get rid of it?
All the other pages are listed as menu items on the header which is what I want. These pages all show their url correctly with the pagename suffix after the website name. Clicking any of these menus goes to the correct page. But clicking the image in the header goes to the empty phantom page which I can’t edit or delete.
Desperate for help as been trying to fix this myself for 4 hours.
Thanks
