    I’ve a website where we’ve used the default registration form, but turned off the required field for Phone Number. However if you leave phone number blank and submit the form you redirect to a blank page with the following:

    Phone Number is empty

    Which feels like a PHP response which shouldn’t be happening, as the JS validation passes on submission.

    How can we resolve this issue? We don’t need phone number to be required, but we do want to validate it as a real phone number.

    Have you made any customization with UM hooks for the Mobile/Phone number validation? Are you able to provide a screenshot of the page where it shows the “Phone Number is empty” including the URL of the page? You can upload the screenshot via imgur.com and then share the Image URLs here so we can review them.

    Thanks for the response, it’s just plain text and the url is the domain.com/register.

    I don’t think we have any hooks involved on the site.

    We couldn’t reproduce the issue on our end.

    Could you please try disabling other plugins and leave UM as the only active plugin? Let’s see if there’s a plugin conflict issue here.

    We have tried that but it didn’t seem to help. We’re going to try re-making the field so it’s not using the one created by the plugin and see if that resolves the issue.
