One of your plugins, or your theme, might be blocking Photon.
Could you let me know what other plugins are currently active on your site?

Jeremy,
The following plugins are currently active on my site.
Akismet
Jetpack
JM Twitter Cards
Responsive Add Ons
Top 10
Wordpress Language
I also have a personal widget which insert Google Adsense in the post. I can deactivate it or can provide some more info for this plugin.
Thank you for your help.
Regards,
Shin
Thanks! None of these should create any conflicts with Jetpack.
I too a closer look at your site, and noticed that Photon works for images inside your post content (see http://i.wpne.ws/YsIJ for example), but doesn’t for Featured Images on your home page:
http://i.wpne.ws/Ys1B
That’s most likely caused by how your theme inserts that Featured Image. I assume it uses a custom function, and doesn’t use the standard the_post_thumbnail (ref).
You could get in touch with the theme authors, and suggest that they implement the options described here:

I hope this helps.

Jeremy,
Thank you for your quick response. I also looked at the source of my site, and notice that Photon works for images in my post content.
Does it mean Photon is mostly working on my site?
If so, that is good news to me.
I will definitely contact with the theme authors on this issue.
Thanks,
Shin

Yes, it works just fine on your site.
I will definitely contact with the theme authors on this issue.
That’s not really an issue, as everything works fine on your site. It’s just a possible improvement they can make to their function calling featured images on your home page.

Jeremy,
Thank you for your response. Very helpful. I really appreciate.
I have one additional question. I am trying to improve my site’s speed. That is the reason I try to use Photon.
I checked my site’s speed using Pingdom and Google’s Page Speed before activated Photon and after.
It turned out there were no difference in terms of site speed. I expected it would make a lot faster after using Photon, because my site has quite a few photos.
Do you have any thoughts or insights on this?
Thank you again for your help.
Shin
If your server already serves your images quickly, and if Pingdom and Google’s Page Speed queried your site from a location not too far from that server, you won’t see any improvement when using Photon.
Photon becomes useful if your server is not optimized to deliver images quickly, or if your readers are accessing your site from all over the globe, and from places very far from your server. In this case, Photon will serve images from another location, closer to where they live, thus making your site load faster on their end.
I hope this clarifies things a bit.
