PHP 5.1.2 and WordPress

    Hi,

    I am trying to install a version of WP that will run with PHP 5.1.2.

    I cannot upgrade PHP so I need to know the correct version of WP that is compatible with PHP 5.1.2 and where to download it from please.

    Per WordPress 3.2 the minimum requirements have changed for PHP 5.2.4 and MySQL 5.0.

    You could run WordPress 3.1.4 from the release archive (scroll down), but it’s so easy for the host to update to PHP 5.2.4+ that you may want to consider a different host provider.

    Obligatory note of caution: 3.3.1 is supported and if there are any more patches it will be against the current version.

    If you have to use 3.1.4 that’s understandable, but you may run into issues that the answer really is “upgrade to 3.3.1”.
