PHP 7.4 to PHP 8.0

    Hello,

    Just changed the PHP version of my server. So, when i try to access to websites who use php 8, i got this warning :

    Any suggestion? I think it’s a problem with mysqlli, who like to be not installed by default in php 8.0 package.

    My server is a whm on a CloudLinux v6.10.0

    English translation of the error message:
    It seems that your PHP installation does not have the necessary MySQL extension for WordPress.

    This issue can occur if you’re using an outdated version of PHP.

    Please make sure you also have MySqli installed with the latest version or any version that can currently work on your host server.

    Hello tarhe!

    Hope you are well.

    So, i have switched to the php 8.0 version. From 7.4 to 8.0, it’s not outdated for sure.. but, maybe i need to install mysql separately.

    This is why i asking here… i have a dedicated server. WordPress works great with 7.4. When i look at the phpinfo file i created, i dont see anyinfomrations about sql…

    Hello… thanks for ur help. But, no.. this is not the problem.

    All is up to date, but still not work. But, i’m sure it’s because the scipts sql is not installed.

    Yeah, it all points to MySqli not installed.

    You’ll need to find a way around getting it installed on your host server to see it that makes any difference.
