The EU VAT Assistant has been compatible with PHP 7 since November 2016. The messages you might have seen are false positives, related to code that was left in a 3rd party library (not written by us) for backward compatibility. You can ignore them, the plugin will work fine.

Well … Besides the messages I see, there’s also the fact that when running it in PHP 7, the plugin doesn’t seem to work. The price area in the checkout stay grey.
Have you tried it in PHP 7 ?

Yes, we tested the plugin with PHP 7 and it still works fine. If there is an issue at the checkout, there might be something else not working, and the presence of the EU VAT Assistant could simply trigger the issue.
The fact that an issue appears when a plugin is activated doesn’t necessarily mean that such plugin causes it. There could be something else that doesn’t work properly in a specific scenario (PHP7 + EU VAT Assistant). To find the exact cause, it would be necessary to investigate the affected site and reproduce the issue. Should you need assistance with it, this type of investigation is covered by the EU VAT Assistant support plans.
