    I just ran the PHP Compatibility Checker plugin through my site and was surprised to see this plugin had 12 warnings attached to it with a check on 7.0

    You can ignore those warnings, they are all false positives.
    NinjaFirewall is fully compatible with PHP 7.0 since December 2015.
    It is also compatible with the latest PHP 7.3-RC released earlier this month.
