Hi @tricheryltops
Thanks for reaching us
The latest version should compatible with PHP 8.0. Both on the Free (1.2.1) and Pro (3.2.2) version. Please update your Youzify to the newest version. 🙂
Best Regards, KaineLabs Team.

I have version 3.3.2. However, if I have PHP 8.0 enabled and try to add a custom tab, upload a profile photo or use the “recycle” feature on profile photos it does not work.
If I roll back to PHP 7.4 these things DO work.
Profile photos also work in BuddyPress with PHP 8.0 enabled — it’s only when Youzify is active that I have the issue.
Thanks

Hello @tricheryltops
This weird. We did a test on our server with PHP 8.0 but can not replicate this issue.
Since you are using the PRO version, I suggest you to submit a ticket on our Premium Support Forum. So our agents will check it directly to your back-end and they will fix it. 🙂
Best Regards, KaineLabs Team.
Agreeing with @tricheryltops — The uploading of Avatars does not work in PHP 8.0 or PHP 8.1. The crop is only ONE pixel large and you can’t do anything. The final result is a randomly cropped avatar. @kainelabsteam please don’t deny this or try to upsell custom development. This is a legitimate bug that cannot be denied any longer. I wish I could attach screen prints. Yes — WordPress, BuddyPress, and your plug-in are all up to date as of 10/21/2022. I will open a new thread in case this being marked resolved does not alert the developers

Hi,
I’m still getting notifications to this topic, I guess:). I have PHP 8.1 installed and uploading avatars has been working just fine now.
However, I had to switch back to the BuddyPress legacy templates — what I found was that it did not work with the Nouveau templates with PHP 8.0 or higher enabled.
Hello @tricheryltops – I tried the steps above, but no luck. I am still looking into what it might be. Thanks for chiming in; that was very helpful with the troubleshooting.
Hello @tricheryltops – I found a possible solution. Disable Lazy Image loading via Jetpack, and the problem is resolved.

Great! In my case it wasn’t that as I don’t use Jetpack’s lazy loading.
