PHP 8.0+ needed

    From version BNWP 1.9.3, PHP version 8.0+ was needed. In the specs from version 1.9.6 now I see that PHP 7.4+ will work.

    Is PHP 8.0+ no longer needed?

    Thanks for your message.

    That is correct. I’ve taken on board user feedback and decided to let WordPress itself decide when PHP 7+ compatibility will be removed. I still advise PHP 8.0+ for performance and security purposes but the plugin should work fine with PHP 7.4 for the time being.
