PHP 8 breaks page with plugin shortcode

    Just a head’s up — with PHP 8, the page on my site using the Author Avatars shortcode breaks. The page just came up blank & I could not access via edit screen. Unfortunately, there was no corresponding entry in my error logs, so I don’t know what created the problem — just that it went away and the page function was restored when I reverted to PHP 7.4.

    So you might want to test with PHP 8 on your own to see if you can replicate the error.

    I have just pushed an updated version with a fix for PHP 8 failing

    Please update and confirm it fixes the problem.
