After upgrading my site to PHP 8, I’m seeing tons of these PHP warnings in my site logs:

[STDERR] PHP Warning: Attempt to read property "ID" on null in /var/www/mysite.com/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/post-expirator/legacy/functions.php on line 791

This hasn’t impacted the functionality of the plugin that I’ve noticed yet, but it would be nice to not have my error logs filled with these notices. 🙂

Thanks for reporting the issue. That can happens when the filter the_content is called by a third party plugin when not in the main loop.

We opened a new issue here: https://github.com/publishpress/PublishPress-Future/issues/313

Feel free to follow the progress there, we are planning to release the fix on the next release.
