Me and PHP do not get on… 😀 So it says to put into the template but which template? Header? Footer?

I can’t link to the site at the mo because it is maintanance mode until it goes live… 😀

Great, you solved it. All the instructions are written in plugins option page.

btw I should have explained that better… it didn’t like where I put the widget… it was in a place that the theme was using not a default one.

You can place shortcode anywhere in the site where you like to display social icons.
