    Hello.

I used the Plugin Compatibility Checker plugin on my website to check the compatibility of my plugins with PHP 8.+. The Compatibility plugin indicates that your plugin is not compatible beyond PHP 8.0. What can you say about this?

    Thanks in advance

    I don’t know what to say 🙂

I tried to install that plugin but the main admin page gives a PHP error on my setup.

I test all my plugins on WordPress nightly, now version 6.9RC3. I also run it all on PHP 8.5, since a month now. I haven’t seen anything that I need to address.
Since PHP 8.4 is now a year out, I am very sure it is compatible with that. I don’t think I had a report about that in the last year. It could be that PHP 8.5 will generate a support ticket, but I am not expecting much, not much has changed. I see a few plugins that give a deprecated warning, but none of my plugins.

If you notice anything, let me know.

    Regards, Marcel

Thank you so much for the quick reply and for trying to test with the checker plugin. There’s probably something missing in your plugin to verify compatibility with PHP 8.+. But I trust you, and I’ll switch my site to PHP 8.2 or 8.3 as soon as I’ve checked all my plugins.

Well, I suppose it’s the same for la Sentinelle Anti-Spam? 😉

Well, the Plugin Compatibility Checker plugin now announces that your plugin is compatible up to PHP 8.4. And it’s the same with your La sentinelle Anti-spam plugin.
    Thank you very much.
