Hi,
Thanks for checking and for letting us know.
Our plugin’s official minimum requirement is PHP 7.4 (as shown in the plugin readme), which means it is intended to run on PHP 7.4 and higher. We do test new releases on current PHP 8.x versions, but third‑party tools like Plugin Compatibility Checker rely on static analysis and conservative rules, so they may report warnings or “not compatible” messages even when a plugin works correctly in practice.
If you run into any real errors after switching to PHP 8.x, please send us the exact error message/log and we’ll be happy to investigate, but at this time we don’t have any known compatibility issues with PHP 8.x.
Thank you for your quick response. I am relieved to know that it’s probably a warning related to the own rules of this plugin.
I will contact you again if I encounter any problems or error messages after switching to PHP 8.2 or 8.3.
Best regards
Well, the Plugin Compatibility Checker plugin now announces that your plugin is compatible up to PHP 8.4.
Thank you very much.
