    To the MailPoet Support Team,

I am reaching out to report a recurring “PHP Deprecated” warning identified in our server logs concerning the MailPoet integration with Contact Form 7.

    Error Details:

    • Type: PHP Deprecated: WPCF7_TagGenerator::add(): The use of tag-generator instances older than version 2 is deprecated.
    • Affected Instances: * MailPoet Subscription (Mailpoet Anmeldung)
      • MailPoet Consent (MailPoet Zustimmung)
      • MailPoet Unsubscribe (MailPoet Abmelden)
      • MailPoet Custom Field (Individuelles Feld von MailPoet)
    • File Reference: wp-includes/functions.php (triggered via the MailPoet/WPCF7 bridge)

    Description:

The logs indicate that MailPoet is still using Version 1 of the Contact Form 7 Tag-Generator API. According to the Contact Form 7 documentation, this version is obsolete and should be replaced with Version 2 to ensure future compatibility and prevent potential fatal errors in upcoming updates

    Questions:

    1. Is there a timeline for updating the Tag-Generator implementation to Version 2?
    2. Are these warnings already addressed in a specific beta or upcoming release?

    Greetings!
    Manuel
