if you’re in the panel then rename your plugins folder to something else (i usually just stick a random letter on the end of it…) and then head back to your site.

when you upgraded to 4.3.1 did you upgrade from a much lower version? did you follow the wordpress guide to upgrading or just click the big shiny button?

Did that before and no, it didn’t work. Just tried it again, just for the heck of it, and nope, still won’t work.

As for my upgrades, I’ve kept up on them and it was a small upgrade.

back up your site!! download a copy of wordpress and then try uploading and overwriting your includes folder, you may have a corrupted file in there somewhere… but back up the site before you do it! 😀
