• Good evening, everybody

    I have register my domain with godaddy, and try to install wordpress on the self host.

    After a while, this message come up “
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/a8292496/public_html/wp-config.php on line 1″ on my homepage. Right now, I can’t even access my dashboard.

    Is anybody know how to fix this issue? I truly am appreciate for your help. Sorry, I little new at this.

  • Sounds like you inadvertently removed too much when creating your wp-config.php file. Try re-creating it using the wp-config-sample.php file as a template and uploading the new version to your WordPress directory.

    Right now, it turn to http – 500 message. Can I just overwrite the wordpress directory with a new upzip wordpress to start over?
