PHP error on frontend

    My Filter Gallery is all of a sudden displaying the following error message repeatedly on the front end:

    Warning: count(): Parameter must be an array or an object that implements Countable in /home/moralmar/public_html/wp-content/plugins/portfolio-filter-gallery-premium/pfg-ld-lightbox.php on line 127

    I was thinking that it might be caused by me switching from PHP 7.1 to PHP 7.2 yesterday, but switching back and emptying all the caches has not solved it. So that does not seem to be the problem after all.

    How can this be solved? Oh, and we are using the premium plugin.
