php error on line 36

    Hello,

    I am a neewbie, today I tried to install the Multiple Post Passwords plugin, but when I try to activate it I get this error message:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /www/MW_Payqncq/mypage.com/wp-content/plugins/multiple-post-passwords/admin/metabox.php on line 36

    can someone please help me?

    Hello Buren,

    it seems you are still using a really old PHP Version smaller than PHP 5.4.
    You should really switch to a newer PHP Version.
    Your version does not even get security updates any more.

    Contact your hosting provider if you don´t know how to change the PHP Version of your website.
