I get a similar error when Plesk tries to update the plugin:

Hey @applina @wykananda – me again! I have a Plesk site with WordPress installed on it and have been trying to reproduce this issue, but without any success if seeing the Fatal Error you both describe. Can you provide me any more detail, such as PHP version, Plesk configuration, etc?
I am somewhat familiar with Plesk, but not an expert. Any help is appreciated!
