php mail function error

    hi,
    i am using php mail() function but it gives me this error.
    2016-06-10 14:11:08 Could not instantiate mail function.
    or if i am using smtp then it gives me this error…
    smtp connect() failed. https //github.com/phpmailer/phpmailer/wiki/troubleshooting
