PHP memory limit at 0 MB
-
Hi
Maybe someone would be so kind to point me in the right direction. I got a error message while trying to use the WordPress PlugIn “Codestyling Localization”.
I´m new to WordPress and therefore it is maybe a newbie fault, maybe i did something wrong. 🙂After installing WordPress and the PlugIn, i got this error message when i click the “Rescan” Button to start with the translation of a theme:
“You are trying to rescan files which expands above your PHP Memory Limit at 0 MB during the analysis.
Please enable the low memory mode for scanning this component.”Of course i enabled the low memory mode, but this doesn´t help. Still got the error.
While reading the source code of the PlugIn, i´m not a programmer by the way, i found a hint that i should install the PlugIn “WP system health” to check what my PHP memory limit is. Regarding this PlugIn i have a PHP memory limit of 256 MB. This is also the value that my provider promises me.
After searching for this error for a few days now, i had to give up. I still found no hint which provide a solution for me.
To give you some more informations:
My WordPress Version is: 3.8.3
My Codestyling Localization PlugIn Version is: 1.99.30As a workaround, i installed WordPress on my local machine. On my local machine everything works perfect. So at the moment i create the .po and .mo files locally and transfer them via ftp to my public site. So i have a somehow time-consuming solution. But it would be very great if someone could tell me what i did wrong.
Best regards
Milla
