    Repro Steps:
Access Appearance > Widgets from WordPress admin (/wp-admin/widgets.php)

    Result:
Notice: wp_enqueue_script() was called incorrectly. “wp-editor” script should not be enqueued together with the new widgets editor (wp-edit-widgets or wp-customize-widgets). Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 5.8.0.) in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/wmea/wp-includes/functions.php on line 5535

    Version Information:
    Events Calendar: 5.8.1
    Wordpress: 5.8
    Theme: Twenty Twenty-One v. 1.3
    Multisite Enabled

Only occurs when The Events Calendar plugin is activated.
Attempted with different themes, error still occurs.
Does not reproduce on site without multisite enabled.

I did get the same error, however, as it has been resolved, I have updated my reply here (deletion did not appear possible).
