    Hi,

    I have selected is this option in duplicate settings page “Attachments (you probably want this unchecked, unless you have very special requirements)”

    If this option is selected, i’m not able to the clone some particular post i have created, it would be taking too much time and also server throwing an error 504 (Gateway error).

    I just want to know more about this option “Attachments (you probably want this unchecked, unless you have very special requirements)”, what is the use of this option in duplicate post

    Please help me out to solve the problem

    Hi Vimala,

    Sorry for the delay in getting back to your question about the attachment copy feature in Duplicate Post.

    When you upload any media files in the page edit screen, these media files are then marked by WordPress as attachments to the page. The feature would also attempt to copy the files attached to the page.

    We’re not sure why there was a 504 error, but we recommend checking your server PHP error logs to see if there was an error. If the error mentions Duplicate Post, please feel free to share it with us.
