PHP version 8+ breaks the plugin – 2.15 version

    Hello,

    I am using version 2.15 and it worked beautifully until I tried to update the PHP version used on my domain from 7.4 to 8.3.

    This seriously breaks the plugin in my setup. On a series entry page only the title and the featured image show up – no content and no navigation.

    I have tried PHP 8.0, 8.1, 8.2, 8.3 and 8.4 and found the same result. Only by reverting to PHP 7.4 the content showed up again under the title and featured image.

    Any idea on the reasons behind this behavior?

    @paulobrabo Please share more details.

    We’ve not had any reports of issues on PHP 8 so far, and things are good in our internal testing.

    Thank you for your answer!

    I wish I could give more details. Here is the link to a particular series summary page. If you click any link to a series entry you’ll see only the featured photo under the title, no content at all. This with PHP 8.3.

    If I revert from PHP 8.3 to 7.4, everything goes back to normal.

    SOLVED!

    Please ignore, Steve, I got the culprit: an outdated niche plugin which I love but that hasn’t been updated in ages (literally, 12 years!) > Side Matter
