    Hey @lbdesign,

We check the PHP_VERSION constant for this which is set by web server. Have you verified that your site is configured to use the PHP 8.0 binary in your web server?

Let me know if this is a self-hosted website on a VPS or whether the site is hosted with a hosting partner.

    Hi @lbdesign,

We haven’t heard back from you in a couple of days. I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.

    Thanks!

Sorry, I missed this. All I know is the server is set for 8.0 in cpanel.

@lbdesign then I’m not sure what could be causing this. If you’re 100% sure that your web server is using PHP 8.0 for this particular site, then it might be a good idea to send a message to your hosting partner and ask them why the PHP_VERSION constant would be set to PHP 7.3.33.

@lbdesign – Curious to know if this issue has been sorted for you – as I also received outdated php warning and I am also running version 8, configured correctly in cpanel, also began being thrown after an AISEO update.

I’m still getting the error message. Running AIOSEO Version 4.4.9.1
