I have been getting the warning / error in the error_log in root then when wordfence was updated the line number changed but not the error

    After update

  • Hi n2rga,
This warning message shows up when your theme doesn’t have a 404 template page, we have this issue logged to our system (reference number: #2111) and a proper handling of this issue will be included in the next updates.

    Thanks.

I have a plugin 404 to 301 installed and it redirects to the home page with a code of 301
Not happening on any other site that I know of

    Hi Mitch,
I just want to confirm that this issue has been fixed since version 6.2.1:
    https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wordfence/changelog/

Fix: Fixed file inclusion error with themes lacking a 404 page.

    Thanks.
