Hello, I’ve been getting these errors quite a bit in the last few weeks… I assume they’re harmless, but it would be nice to have a clean PHP error log as I have a lot of sites running.
    Thanks
    Nils

  • Hello,

First of all thank you for showing interest and using our plugin.

The error is being generated from the script that monitors for WordPress updates. Can you please answer the below questions to help us troubleshoot such issue?

    1. What version of WordPress are you running?

    2. Do you know if such errors are generated when you do something specific, such as when you try to upgrade WordPress?

    3. Do you have some sort of “updating” plugin or something similar?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Hello,
    1. I’m using the latest WP, 4.5.1
    2. I’m not sure, but it’s probably during an update of some sort. Must be an Autoupdate, as it happens at strange times. I’m running the WP Update Settings plugin, and have it set to update everything except major core updates.
    3. It’s not during an update running from InfiniteWP, which I run by hand.

Thanks for your plugin, and thanks for looking into the issue!

to #3- it could be during those as well, but I can’t be sure.

    Hello,

I can confirm that we found a bug in the update monitoring code and it is fixed. The fix of this update will be included in the next version of the plugin.

Thank you very much for reporting this issue and do not hesitate to get in touch should have any queries. Should you wish to get an email when such updates are available, please subscribe to our plugin newsletter.

    Have a good day.
