When using the back-up option I get a page full of this:

Warning: preg_replace() [function.preg-replace]: Empty regular expression in /home/brighto1/public_html/wp-content/plugins/better-wp-security/inc/backup.php on line 92

Not sure what to do about that but I wouldn’t mind getting rid of that.

I did go to the download option for the dev version and installed that but no change with that.

    Thank you

    Martin

I get the same error. I am getting SQL backups emailed to me, but the file size is much smaller than previously by almost 90%, and so I’m not sure if the backup is completing properly.

Not sure if this applies to scheduled backups. I’ll know tomorrow.

Obviously, backups are kind of important 🙂

And I have installed BWS on a completely separate site, different host, theme and plugins and exact same thing there too.

Upgrading to the latest version fixed this for me:

    3.5.2
Fixed error message that could appear when creating backups
Correct Changelog not displaying correctly on ww.wp.xz.cn after version 3.5.1

It fixed it for me too.

    Thanks
