PHP Warning when creating staging site

    Hello

    First thanks for your amazing plugin, really helpful.

    I have this problem when creating staging site:

    if I don’t enable debug mode, the process will fail in the File Copy step
    if I enable the debug mode, I will see a lot of PHP warnings in the log:
    PHP Warning: fwrite() expects parameter 1 to be resource, null given in /www.www.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-staging/includes/logger.php on line 80
    but the process will finish.

    Hope this can be addressed in future, thanks

    Hi, may i ask you to check out latest developer version? It’s a complete rewrite and is hopefully fixing your issue.

    Can you test it and tell me if its working to support [at] wp-staging.com?

    I don’t see that log now
    but seeing this:
    [05-May-2017 17:13:52 UTC] PHP Warning: sprintf(): Too few arguments in /path/to/www/wp-content/plugins/wp-staging/apps/Backend/views/clone/ajax/start.php on line 47

    Also the clone process is stuck, not sure if it’s my problem.

    @hotsjf will fix this. Thanks for testing. Beside of that the cloning process should be working and i need to investigate more into this. You are not able to open the log? Do you like to send me a mail? I need to ask for further details which i can not discuss here publically for security reasons.

    @hotsjf the php error is fixed. You can download again the file from https://www.mashshare.net//wp-content/uploads/wp-staging/wp-staging.zip

    But for fixing the stuck clone process i still need more details and it would be great if you could send me the mail so that i can investigate more into this.
