PHP Warnings

Hello,

I really love the plugin, and it works well. However, the plugin is causing a few PHP Warnings and Errors that are filling up my error_log. There are three lines that come again and again. They are:

[07-Jun-2013 05:17:14 UTC] PHP Warning:  Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in wp-content/plugins/wordpress-backup-to-dropbox/Classes/class-dropbox-facade.php on line 180

[06-Jun-2013 07:59:27 UTC] PHP Warning:  json_encode() [<a href='function.json-encode'>function.json-encode</a>]: Invalid UTF-8 sequence in argument in wp-content/plugins/wordpress-backup-to-dropbox/Classes/class-wp-backup-logger.php on line 28

[16-Jun-2013 01:31:44 UTC] WordPress database error Duplicate entry 'wp-admin/about.ph' for key 'file' for query INSERT INTO <code>wp_cpty6b_wpb2d_processed_files</code> (<code>file</code>) VALUES ('wp-admin/about.php') made by do_action_ref_array, call_user_func_array, run_dropbox_backup, WP_Backup->execute, WP_Backup->backup_path, WP_Backup_Processed_Files->add_files, dbrc_wpdb->query, dbrc_wpdb->dbcr_query

Many thanks for fixing these. They should be fairly easy to fix, I think/hope.

These warnings dont show for me. I will take a look to see what might be causing them.

Hi,

I’m still getting an amazing number of errors from this plugin in the error log. Here are the ones that are exploding my error log the last couple of months!

There are many many many versions of these, but just picked three as an example. Any ideas what to do about this?

Ok, the reason it was not happing for me is because I do not have a UTF-8 char in one of my file names that is causing the Invalid UTF-8 sequence in argument error.

I have found a work around for this that will be in the next version.

Wanna try out the beta and see if the issues are fixed?

I copied all of those files into the plugin folder, overwriting any file that was of different size. I then deleted my error log and ran a backup. No new file was created, sooo… I guess it didn’t create a single error line. Good sign. I’ll keep dipping into this file once a week (standard check I do) and if you don’t hear from me again, then whatever you did in this version fixed the problem!
