    Hi,

Since December 5, I’m seeing some WPSAL-related entries in my PHP error log:

    [05-Dec-2017 19:16:30 UTC] PHP Warning: A non-numeric value encountered in /wp-content/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/classes/Sensors/System.php on line 223
    [06-Dec-2017 00:23:45 UTC] PHP Warning: A non-numeric value encountered in /wp-content/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/classes/Sensors/System.php on line 223
    [06-Dec-2017 00:23:45 UTC] PHP Warning: A non-numeric value encountered in /wp-content/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/classes/Sensors/System.php on line 223

Can you see what’s happening there? How can this be fixed?

    Thank you!
    Jutta

  • Hello @jutta0303,

Thank you for using the plugin.

Can you please confirm what version of the plugin you are running?

Also, did you do any change on the website on the 5th of December?

    Hello 🙂

    I’m running version 2.6.9.1.

On the 5th, I updated some plugins (not WPSAL), but nothing else.

    Hi,

Just wanted to follow up: I did a restore of my site to a previous restore point and this seems to have fixed this issue. I’m not seeing any more error.

    Thanks anyway!

    Hello @jutta0303,

Glad your problem is solved. We also found out what is happening. The value in “attempts” should be integer and in your case it is not. We also added a minor fix to the plugin so such problem is handled next time.

Thank you very much for reporting the issue and using our plugin. Should there be anything else we can help you with, please do not hesitate to ask.
