    Hi there,

    we got –
    “[21-Jan-2023 10:10:05 UTC] PHP Deprecated: Creation of dynamic property Cookie_Law_Info_Cli_Policy_Generator::$plugin_name is deprecated in ../wp-content/plugins/cookie-law-info/legacy/admin/modules/cli-policy-generator/cli-policy-generator.php on line 176”
    in the debug.log. Do you think this can be fixed? TYIA

    It’s worth noting that this version of PHP is still in its early stages, and neither our plugin nor WordPress are fully compatible with it. As a result, while attempting to use our plugin with PHP 8.2, issues may arise. 

    We recommend that you use an older version of PHP, such as 8.0, which has been tested and is known to work well with our plugin. This will help avoid any potential issues and ensure a smooth experience while using our plugin.

    Hi there,

    thanks for your effort and remember that wordpress debugging becomes very time consuming when the debug.log is full of “PHP deprecated:…” messages. TAL

    Hi @headroom,

    We believe if you are using PHP 8.0, the “PHP deprecated..” error messages won’t be recorded in the logs. If you experience the same, let us know.
