    Hi

It looks like you need to add the PHP INI instructions to your phprc file.
    1. Run NinjaFirewall installer.
    2. Select Apache + CGI, any PHP INI file (it does not matter) and click “Next step”.
    3. Copy the red instructions to your phprc file.
    4. Select “I want to make the changes myself” and click “Next step”.

One important thing to remember is that if one day you wanted to uninstall NinjaFirewall, you would need to manually remove the instructions from the phprc file before uninstalling the plugin, otherwise your site would crash (because NinjaFirewall wouldn’t be able to remove those intructions for you).

    Hi nintechnet,

I use the same host as tracy and the provided steps did not work. What additional steps would need to be taken to leverage the NinjaFirewall plugin?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,

Can you run this script: http://nintechnet.com/share/wp-check.txt
    1. Rename this file to “wp-check.php”.
    2. Upload it into your WordPress root folder.
    3. Go to http://YOUR WEBSITE/wp-check.php
    4. Delete it afterwards.

This assumes that you have installed NinjaFirewall and added the code to your phprc file (even if it is not working).

    Hello Nintechnet,

I ran the script and it shows ninjafirewall not loaded in red.

    HTTP server : Apache
    PHP version : 5.6.10
    PHP SAPI : CGI-FCGI

    auto_prepend_file : none
NinjaFirewall detection : NinjaFirewall is not loaded

    Loaded INI file : /etc/php56/php.ini
    user_ini.filename : .user.ini
    user_ini.cache_ttl : 300 seconds
User PHP INI : none found

    Hi,

Could you ask your host if your hosting plan supports the phprc file?
    Maybe it does not?

    Hi Nintechnet,

I confirmed with my host that PHPRC is supported. After chatting with support they killed all php processes and the output of the wp-check.php file shows NinjaFirewall is loaded. I appreciate the quick responses and patience to help get ninjafirewall to work.

    HTTP server : Apache
    PHP version : 5.6.10
    PHP SAPI : CGI-FCGI

    auto_prepend_file : /home/wp_qpu9qr/babyninjadeals.com/wp-content/plugins/ninjafirewall/lib/firewall.php
NinjaFirewall detection : NinjaFirewall WP Edition is loaded

    Loaded INI file : /etc/php56/php.ini
