Pics counter

After checking the plugin information, I see how it shows the number of images posted in Instagram with an specific hashtag (number next to the camera icon).

I would like to know if that counter will reflect the effect of applying a conditional filter. That is, if I set a conditional filter (for example to skip images posted by a certain user), the total number of images will be lower than the original number. Will the counter show the number of images deducting the filtered ones?
