Picturesque Theme problem

    I’m new to WordPress, but not cms’ in general. I’ve installed the Picturesque theme, but cannot get it to show on the front page. I’ve created a test album and a test gallery with one image in it for right now. I’ve read the couple of posts on the Picturesque theme, but no help there. is there any documentation for this theme i’m missing? our site url is http://www.donnamjones.com. any help will be greatly appreciated.

    i think i may be confusing the them with the nextgen gallery plugin. i just can’t seem to get my head wrapped around this right or something….
