Pin It Button Disable Hover Animation

    Hi Nick,

    to be honest, the plugin doesn’t feature any kind of animation on hover. The button just appears on hover and disappears when the mouse cursor leaves the image. Maybe it’s caused by css rules from other plugins or the theme itself.

    I was having this same problem (the button “sliding up” on hover) and I realized I had a css transition property set to all elements on hover. the pinterest button changes to a different image on hover by using an image sprite and changing the background image position… this causes a hover to create a sliding effect.

    setting transition: none; for the pinterest button fixed the issue.

    Pinterest has since released a Javascript which provides a button to pin images. I’ve switched to that and it works fine.

    @asaturn: your solution seems like the likely answer to my problem.
