• I have a pingback on a website that is generating a fair amount of traffic to my website. At some point, I was advised to take the dates out of my permalinks. Unfortunately, this was after the pingback was made so anytime someone checks out my blog through the pingback, they are getting a 404 page not found error. Is there a way to fix this? I am a newbie to wordpress so any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Is it on a specific page or all pages?

for specific pages you can use a redirect plugin
for all pages you can probably set a rule on .htaccess

It is just for one specific page. Do you have a preferred redirect plugin? Thanks for your help!
