Pinterest href HTML validation error

The W3C validator doesn’t like how spaces are being included in the Pinterest href descriptions. The following error shows up:

Bad value for attribute href on element a: Illegal character in query: space is not allowed.

eg.
Art Deco 18ct White Gold Zircon Ring”

Is there a way you could help remove the spaces in the Pinterest hrefs so that the code is properly validated?
