When I use the mashshare pinterest button in my article to pin an image it always selects an image size too small to actually pin. I’ve tested it out on my desktop browser and phone browser and it’s the same issue. The only time I can successfully pin an articles image is when I use my toolbar pinterest button and it gives me the option to select the higher resolution image.

  • Hi,

try to use a larger featured image. This should do the trick:-)

The image is already large. The image size that we upload onto our site for our feature images is 1175×620.

Here’s whats happening with the mashshare button:

Here’s what happens when I use the toolbar, hover pinit button, and uploading the article to pinterest manually. All those instances pulls the full image size that was uploaded.

    Hi Angie,

can you show me a link to your site, so i can test this?

Mashshare is pulling the image: http:\/\/www.ourstate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/chocolate-praline-squares-80×40.jpg

I assume your featured image is scaled down on this post by any unknown reason.

Could you delete it and than upload it again?

On another post on your site it is working so i think uploading it again could fix it:

Btw. the buttons are looking really nice on your page.

    Hello,

When I pin’ any of my pictures to Pinterest, or even view them on my blog page they are very small.

How can I get them to be seen at a much larger size?

They are fairly large on my blog pages.

    Thanks.
