• I am helping a friend edit his website. He needs the opacity and color of background changed on the panels on the front page of the pique theme. I helped him put the site together last year and when creating and editing the panels I would do the following:

    add new page
    go to customize theme
go to theme options / panels
assign a panel to the new page

since logging back in after 10 months I noticed that under the ” theme options the “panels” section has vanished from the appearance / customize theme section of the dashboard. I would like to edit 3 of the panels to show no image and haveonly white background and 3 to have images with lower opacity

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi @frobin2018, I just activated Pique on my test site and under Theme Options, all the panels appear.

Go to Users > All Users in the dashboard and look to see what Role is assigned to your username. If it is less than Administrator, a good number of things will not show up for you.

Also, if you happen to be on a page other than the main page with the panels while in the Customizer, the Panels will not show up in Theme Options. Make sure you are on the home page in the Preview.

Many of the Customizer sections are page/page-type specific.

Thank you for your reply, I am on the home page during my attempts. I will check about the roles and get back with an update

    Thanks again

I just checked and I am logging in as the site owner so unsure as to why I cannot access panels anymore.

step 4 below doesn’t exist for me

Navigate to Customize → Theme Options. From the drop-down, select the page you’d like to appear in the panel.
You can also adjust the background color, and the opacity of your featured image on top of that color, allowing you fine-tuned control over your page’s appearance.

The only option I get from theme options is ” menu settings “

Log out, clear your browser cookies and then log back in and try again. If you have the Home Page showing in the customizer when you click on Theme Options, it should show the 8 panels.

I activated Pique on my test site and it is working for me, so not sure what is going on.
