Piracy action toward WordPress

    Hi,

    Just found the website of the attached link copied almost all the materials from ww.wp.xz.cn (which includes all the themes and plugins files) and pretending all those things are done by them.

    I am really not willing to share/express the link even though it’s only visible to logged-in users, if there is a way to hide it, Admin please do so.

    ww.wp.xz.cn does not providing hosting for sites, it provides the software for other people to use their own sites on their own hosting providers. We also have no more access to WordPress sites than any normal visitor, nor would we want more than that.

    In cases of theft, abuse, harassment, or other such behavior, your best recourse is to contact their hosting provider directly. You can use WHOIS to determine where they’re hosted, as well as resources like https://wordpress.com/site-profiler to find relevant information.

    FYI, this sort of proxy site is not new or unusual for us. If it becomes popular, it sort of auto-bans itself. I really wouldn’t worry about it.
