    I am experiencing a bug where there are way too many conversions being tracked, specifically for a advantage+ shopping campaign on facebook, the other “normal” campaigns seem fine, but I may be wrong.

    I have been using your plugin for a while and have had no issues, I am only seeing this now with the advantage+ shopping campaign.

    I have no events set up with the events set up tool, and Track events automatically without code is turned off.

    Unfortunately I don’t know how to help here. Having this problem only for a specific type of campaign indicates a problem on Meta’s end.

    I can suggest testing your events to see if there are extra purchase events fired. You can also check the number of Purchase events reported by Events Manager. But if there are problems with the events, you would have the issue across all type of campaigns.

    Attribution and conversion measurement are done by Meta, we only fire the events. You can try to raise the issue with their support team. If they give you the “default” answer “the pixel is installed by a third party so we can’t look into it”, insist it’s not a pixel problem, but an issue with conversion measurement.
