Hello there,
Have you inserted the new Facebook Pixel code in the Facebook Pixel dashboard in the backend?
The new Facebook Pixel works differently from the old pixel and you need to set up different events if you can want to track anythign except the normal pageview.
I would suggest going through these articles in our site’s knowledgebase to learn how to get start with the new version:

Thanks.
Hi There,
to make sure my step is correct, i actually tested the step with another page & another website. but only this particular site have this problem. is this because previously i used another method to insert pixel before ?
may i know how to clear the previous history so that the pixel will not confuse .
Hello there,
Having used the old type of pixel before should not cause an issue. There must be something else going on specific to this site.
Do you mean that the pixel is not showing, or that Pixel Cat Lite is not showing in your Admin Dashboard?
There is no previous history for you to clear, that is not something that should affect the issue. I’m not sure what you mean by that or why anyone would have suggested it. It is not needed.
If you are upgrading from the old version, that uses the old pixel, to the new version, for the new pixel, please follow these instructions: https://fatcatapps.com/migrate-new-facebook-pixel/
Make sure you have inserted your pixel ID into Pixel Cat, and basic events should work for all pages, then you can create custom events.
Some common issue that will prevent the pixel from firing for you are:
1. If “Exclude Users” is enabled for admins, you will not see the pixel fire if you are logged in. To resolve this either remove admin from here, or logout, when testing for your pixel.
2. Any adblockers, or other security software can prevent the pixels from firing. Make sure they are disabled before testing that the pixel is firing.
3. There could be a conflict. Meaning another plugin, or the theme, is interfering with our plugin somehow and preventing it from working as expected. If the above steps do not help, let us know, and we will provide detailed instructions on searching for conflicts. We do our best to patch all conflicts, but we must isolate the conflicting software first.
If you mean that Pixel Cat is not showing in your WP dashboard, a conflict is very likely. Let me know if you can see it in the plugins area. If enabled you should have “Facebook Pixel” in the sidebar of your dashboard.
Let me know if any of the above helps, and get back to me with those details, and we will go from there,
Thank you.

Hi There,
with refer to the link https://fatcatapps.com/migrate-new-facebook-pixel/, i can find the pizel as 2nd image , but i can find it under “setting” as per the 1st image.
Hello there,
Since you may have been already using the new version, it’s likely you will not see the first image.
Please go to your Facebook ads manager to get your “Pixel ID”, and provide it to Pixel Cat in the Main tab. Tracking will then be automatically added to your entire site and please also try to follow the instructions in the detailed email above.
Let us know if you have any other questions.

https://getsunset.comHi i follow the instruction to put the pixel ID and try to check with pixel helper, it show no pixel found.
would you provide online support to have a look on my webpage ? or maybe diagnose for the adblocker & posible conflict.
Hello there,
Those instructions are for users who used an older version of our plugin that supported the old pixel. The first screenshot show how to upgrade from the old version to the new. Once upgraded you will not find the pixel under settings anymore. That is to be expected.
These instructions may not apply to you. We were not sure if you were using the old version of our plugin, when you said you were using the old pixel. If you did not use the old version of our plugin (previously known as “Facebook Conversion Pixel”, please disregard those instructions.
The only place Pixel Cat’s settings should appear, is in the sidebar of your dashboard, under “Facebook Pixel”.
Please go there and insert your Facebook Pixel ID, and that should enable tracking. When testing, also make sure your ad-blocker is disabled, and you are not blocking your user role from being tracked with the “Exclude Users” settings.
Once the Pixel ID is in place, if tracking is not working, it may due to a conflict with another plugin. Please refer to these instructions on how to isolate conflicts: https://fatcatapps.com/knowledge-base/search-for-conflicts/
If you can isolate the conflicting software, we will see if that is something we can patch. Let us know whether or not you were able to insert your pixel ID, and if you found a conflict.
Regards,

Hi There, i had try to deactivate all the plugin but it still failed.
Now i need to backup the site before i tested on the conflict of theme. wish me luck.if this still not working , what is the next ?
Hello there,
Please also make sure that you are not blocking your user level from tracking in Pixel Cat settings and also make sure you’re not using adblocker on your browser which may be blocking the pixels.
Since this is an issue unique to your installation and not something we have had other reports of from other users, it is bound to be a conflict or a missed step in setting up Pixel Cat, so switching theme might help in this case.
Thanks.
