Pixel still active after deleting plugin?

    I recently installed the plugin, but following dev advice I deactivated it and then deleted it. The problem is that the Facebook Pixel Helper is still showing the pixel as active on our site, despite the plugin being deleted.

    Does this mean the Pixel is still active on our site, or is this a delayed response?

    Hi,

    I confirm that when you deactivate the plugin the pixel won’t be active anymore on the website, so the Facebook Pixel Helper shouldn’t show any pixel.

    The reasons why it may continue to show the Pixel ID might be:
    – a system cache on your server or by a plugin (like WP Super Cache, WP Rocker, WP Total Cache, ecc..) that maintain the oldest pixel code on the webpage, even if the plugin is deactivating, unless you flush the cache;
    – you have another plugin installed or a custom code that adds the pixel in the page.

    Anyway, I see your website URL and I didn’t see any pixel on the page.
