    Hello,

I would like to upload pictures, that get displayed sharp and crisp in my page-filling slider on http://www.edi-nulz.com.

My wordpress dosen’t allow me to upload pictures that are wider than 1200 px, even if the their file size is by far less than the 1 MB file size limit.

How can I modify this 1200 px pixel width limit?
I look forward to your advice.

  • WordPress does NOT specify any width limits. May be your theme or a plugin is doing that. Can you replicate the issue with Twenty Thirteen theme with all plugins off (except the slider)?

The only limitation I can think of is the one in php.ini and it’s about post_size, not pixels. What is the exact error you are getting?

Thank you for getting back to me!

The problem was connected to the theme and is solved now! 🙂

I am having the same issue. Can you elaborate nini_bacher on which theme you were using and what steps you took to resolve the image resizing?
