Thanks for your query. Let us explain this in detail –

1. If you are using PixelYourSite plugin, then you can use this plugin to track Page View, Initiate checkout, Add to cart, Add Payment Payment Info events.

1.1 As we track these events on Funnelkit pages only that is why we recommend to track these events with pluign like PixelYourSite.

2. It is only Purchase event that need to be disabled from PixelYourSite plugin and enable purchase event from Funnelkit tracking only.

2.2 Also, the reason why we recommend using PixelYourSite because it provides a granular setting to turn OFF purchase events only.

The reason why we ask to track purchase events from Funnelkit only is mentioned below:

3. Most analytic plugins including the “PixelYourSite” plugin will not track purchase events on the upsell offer pages as they expect users will straight away jump to Thank you page.
4. To overcome this limitation, we had a built-in entire layer of Purchase event tracking.
5. We fire purchase events for the main order on the upsell page. And if the offer is accepted, the net purchase event is fired on the next step.
6. This also ensures that if the user leaves the upsell page, the original purchase is still tracked.
7. Furthermore, our purchase tracking will also fire purchase events even if there is no funnel. In that sense, it takes end to end responsibility of send purchase data to the analytics system.
8. However to avoid duplication of tracking data we suggest that you disable “just” purchase tracking from your main tracking plugin plugin and enable tracking of purchase events tracking from Funnelkit tracking settings only.
