Place ad does not work

    Hi,

    I am just trying this plugin here, but “Place ad” does not seem to work. The title shows up, then a black page. The footer is missing to.
    Edit, search and browse works, but then again there are no ads cause I can’t place any.

    Is this because I haven’t updated to the latest WP yet?

    I also believe that AWPCP was installed on my site a long time ago and then removed. So there could be some leftovers from earlyer that screws it up.

    Hi stellenhang,

    If you have an extremely old version of AWPCP still lying around on your site, it’s best to start over just in case.

    Delete and uninstall the plugin
    Go into your database, delete ALL tables that start with wp_awpcp. (Using phpMyAdmin or something similar)
    Reinstall again from WP.org

    Try that first, that will probably fix it. If not, report back and we’ll try again. 🙂

    Hi there!

    I did what you said, but no luck. I could not find any leftovers from earlyer versions before I installed it either, I just thought I’d mention it.

    Any other ideas? 🙂

    Re: resolved, I do that because it tells me which threads I’ve responded to. Lots of times, people read the answer and never reply so it keeps the forum clean. I always respond if you do, so don’t worry about the status. 🙂
