Hi Salvatore, I’m sorry but probably I don’t have understood the request.
Do you refer to the public form that is presented to the person that subscribes to the newsletter?
Could you please explain me the use case that you wish to accomplish?
    Thank you

    Hi,
Yep, i’m talking about the public form. When i make a subscribe form inside my wordpress website i wish I could change the placeholder

    (Ciao,

Hi Salvatore! Yes, we speak Italian.
Displaying the fields’ names as ‘text watermark’ inside the text boxes should address your request. If possible, we will add this as a new feature to next plugin update. We’ll keep you informed through this forum thread as soon as we have a release date.

If you need more details please contact the MailUp support team.

Hi Salvatore, we would like to inform you that we have just released version 1.4.0 of wp-plugin, which supports placeholders. A specific check box in the admin area lets you enable placeholder instead of external labels
    Hope it helps

Thanks, it’s exactly what i want!

There’s a little bug about the required field asterisk, the plugin insert the asterisk before the text 🙁

Thanks for the fast feedback. The asterisk on the left of the string is coherent with what we currently have on external labels.
Anyway, while removing the asterisk in case of single field forms requires more work, moving the asterisk to the right is definitely easier and we can do it quickly if the user experience takes advantage from this. What do you think?

I think it’s more understandable put the asterisk on the right (but that’s just my opinion)

You probably need to put a space between the asterisk and the text

    from

    *Label

    to

    * Label
