    Dear developers,

    I would like to add a placeholder label to the input box of the product page of donation with the following code, what should I do?

    Original code
    <input type="text" class="ywcds_amount_single_product" name="amount_single_product" value=">

    Code I want to add:
    <input type="text" class="ywcds_amount_single_product" name="amount_single_product" value="" placeholder="First name">

    Hi there! You can simply override the template add-donation-form-single-product.php in your child theme with the changes applied.

    Thank you so much for replying. Do you mean copy the add-donation-form-single-product.php to my child theme root file and apply change on it?

    Hi, yes you are correct 🙂
    the path should be wp-content/themes/yourchild/woocommerce/add-donation-form-single-product.php
